NECO Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Rock Crusher / Quarry Operator to support quarrying and construction material production operations in Palau. This opportunity is ideal for experienced workers with knowledge of rock crushing equipment, quarry operations, material handling, equipment inspection, and workplace safety.

Rock Crusher/Quarry Operator

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Rock Crusher Operator, Quarry Operator, Crusher Plant Operator, Aggregate Plant Operator, or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of rock crushers, screening equipment, conveyors, feeders, and quarry processing systems.
• Experience operating and monitoring crushing and aggregate processing equipment.
• Ability to identify abnormal equipment conditions, material blockages, and basic operational problems.
• Basic knowledge of equipment inspection, lubrication, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Ability to work with excavator, loader, dump truck, and other heavy equipment operators as part of a quarry production team.
• Physically fit and capable of working in dusty, noisy, outdoor, and demanding quarry environments.
• Strong awareness of machinery, quarry, traffic, and workplace safety procedures.
• Willing to work flexible hours, shifts, and overtime according to production and project requirements.
• Reliable, alert, hardworking, and able to follow instructions and established operating procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety, productivity, equipment care, and quality of processed materials.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor rock crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, and other quarry processing equipment.
• Start, stop, and adjust crushing equipment according to production requirements and established operating procedures.
• Feed raw rock and quarry materials into crushing equipment at appropriate rates to maintain efficient production.
• Monitor crusher performance, material flow, vibration, noise, temperature, and other operating conditions.
• Inspect crushed materials to ensure proper size, quality, and consistency according to project requirements.
• Operate and monitor screening systems to separate aggregate materials into required sizes.
• Clear blockages and assist with basic troubleshooting of crushers, screens, conveyors, and feeders.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report worn, damaged, or defective components to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Assist mechanics and maintenance personnel during equipment servicing, repairs, and scheduled maintenance.
• Perform basic lubrication, cleaning, and housekeeping around crushing and quarry equipment as required.
• Monitor stockpiles and assist with proper handling and movement of processed aggregate materials.
• Coordinate with excavator, loader, truck, and other heavy equipment operators to maintain a continuous supply of raw materials.
• Maintain production records, equipment operating logs, material output records, and other required documentation.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and immediately report equipment abnormalities, hazards, or unsafe conditions.
• Follow quarry blasting, traffic management, dust control, environmental, and site safety procedures where applicable.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing, eye, respiratory, and other required protection.
• Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas to promote safe and efficient quarry operations.
• Perform other crushing, quarry, aggregate processing, and equipment operation duties assigned by management.
