Lamprell Energy Limited is seeking experienced Rigging professionals to support offshore and onshore oil & gas construction projects in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy materials and equipment in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Rigger

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in heavy lifting and rigging operations.
• Must have experience in offshore and oil & gas projects.
• Experience in construction-related fields is required.
• Aramco project experience is an advantage.
• Must be physically fit and medically cleared for offshore and industrial work.
• Strong understanding of rigging techniques, lifting operations, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and understand lifting plans and instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
• High level of awareness regarding workplace safety and risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform rigging activities for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy equipment and materials.
• Select and inspect lifting gear such as slings, shackles, chains, and hoists before use.
• Interpret lifting plans, load charts, and work instructions to ensure safe operations.
• Assist in coordinating crane operations and heavy lifting activities on-site and offshore.
• Ensure proper attachment, signaling, and communication during lifting operations.
• Conduct pre-lift inspections and ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
• Work closely with crane operators, supervisors, and other construction personnel.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment defects immediately.
• Follow all oil & gas industry safety regulations and company HSE policies.
• Maintain rigging equipment in good condition and ensure proper storage after use.
