Painter

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–4 years relevant experience in painting or finishing works
• Skilled in interior and exterior painting for buildings and facilities
• Knowledge of surface preparation, sanding, filling, and priming techniques
• Experience in using brushes, rollers, and spray painting equipment
• Ability to mix and match paint colors and apply coatings evenly
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work at heights or confined spaces when required
• Attention to detail and ability to produce clean, high-quality finishes
• Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures and use of PPE

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming before painting
• Apply paint, varnish, or other coatings on walls, ceilings, doors, and structures
• Perform touch-ups and repainting work as required
• Ensure smooth, even, and high-quality finish on all painted surfaces
• Mix paints and select appropriate materials based on job requirements
• Protect surrounding areas from paint damage using proper covering methods
• Maintain tools, brushes, rollers, and spray equipment in good condition
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling of painting chemicals
• Coordinate with supervisors and other workers on site requirements
• Ensure all completed work meets company and client quality standards

Requirements:

• Valid passport ( 2 years validity)
• Updated resume
• Certificate of Employment
• PEOS and EREG
