P.T Dunia is seeking a highly experienced Rig Manager (Dayshift Only) to oversee geothermal drilling operations in Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of drilling programs while ensuring wells are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the highest industry standards. The Rig Manager will lead all rig personnel, supervise well-site operations, and ensure optimal equipment performance throughout the drilling campaign.

RIG MANAGER (dayshift only)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in drilling operations, with a strong background in high-temperature geothermal wells or deep oil and gas drilling, is required.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Must hold a valid IWCF Level 4 or IADC Supervisor Well Control Certificate.
• Drillmec / HH Certification is required.
• Proven experience operating Drillmec drilling rigs or working on geothermal drilling projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of drilling operations, well control, rig management, equipment maintenance, and geothermal drilling practices.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, communication, and team management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the safe and efficient execution of drilling programs for geothermal production and injection wells.
• Direct all rig floor and well-site operations, including rig mobilization, rig-up, drilling, casing, cementing, well control activities, and rig-down operations.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate drillers, assistant drillers, floorhands, and other rig personnel to maintain high operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with approved drilling procedures, well control standards, environmental regulations, and company health and safety policies.
• Monitor drilling progress, equipment performance, and operational efficiency to achieve project objectives within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with drilling engineers, mud engineers, geologists, contractors, and client representatives to resolve operational issues and optimize drilling performance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and inspection of drilling equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Conduct daily operational meetings, safety briefings, and performance reviews while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Prepare operational reports, daily drilling reports, and documentation required by project management and clients.
