Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Co. (SPIMACO) is seeking experienced Quality Technicians to support quality assurance and quality control activities within its pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting products, conducting quality checks, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and maintaining accurate documentation to uphold the highest pharmaceutical quality standards.

Quality Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical company.
  • Technical knowledge and practical experience related to pharmaceutical quality assurance or quality control.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), pharmaceutical manufacturing standards, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable and capable of working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections and in-process checks on raw materials, packaging materials, and finished pharmaceutical products.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company procedures, and quality standards.
  • Conduct sampling, testing, and documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify, document, and report product defects, deviations, or non-conformities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and laboratory or production documentation.
  • Assist in investigations involving quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure all quality activities comply with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to maintain consistent product quality.
