PROGRESS DRAFTSMAN & REPORTING ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Progress Draftsman, Reporting Engineer, or in a closely related engineering/project reporting position.
- Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others), or a similar field.
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience in construction, engineering, project documentation, progress monitoring, or reporting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction plans, schedules, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of construction progress monitoring, project reporting, and technical documentation.
- Ability to prepare accurate progress drawings and update drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills for collecting, verifying, and presenting project progress data.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings, measurements, data, and reports.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, planners, site supervisors, contractors, and project management teams.
- Proficient in organizing project records, drawings, progress data, and reporting documents.
- Physically fit and capable of conducting site visits and working in a construction environment.
- Able to work under deadlines and manage multiple reporting and drafting requirements.
- Responsible, organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining accurate project documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update progress drawings based on actual construction and project site developments.
- Maintain accurate drawings reflecting completed, ongoing, and planned construction activities.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documents to support progress monitoring.
- Prepare drawings, layouts, and visual documentation required for project progress reporting.
- Collect and consolidate progress information from engineering, construction, planning, and site teams.
- Monitor actual construction progress against approved project schedules and planned targets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports as required by project management.
- Compile progress data, quantities, accomplishments, manpower information, and other relevant project statistics.
- Track the status of construction activities and identify delays, incomplete works, and areas requiring attention.
- Update progress charts, tables, tracking sheets, and other reporting tools.
- Prepare graphical presentations and visual summaries of project progress for management and client review.
- Assist in preparing project dashboards and other management reporting documents.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and project managers to verify progress information.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify actual work progress and collect relevant data.
- Compare reported progress with actual site conditions and approved construction documents.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings, reported progress, and actual site accomplishments.
- Update drawings and reports following approved design changes, site instructions, and project revisions.
- Maintain proper document control, drawing registers, revision records, and reporting files.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and other project documentation when required.
- Prepare supporting documentation for progress meetings, client presentations, and project reviews.
- Monitor key project milestones and assist in identifying potential schedule and progress issues.
- Provide accurate and timely reports to project management and other authorized personnel.
- Ensure reports, drawings, and project documentation are prepared according to company and project standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper control of project information, drawings, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, contractors, consultants, and site personnel.
- Follow company policies, project procedures, quality requirements, and workplace safety standards.
- Perform other drafting, progress monitoring, reporting, and engineering support duties assigned by management.
