Production Operator
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a High School Graduate.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, confectionery, bakery, or production work is an advantage.
- Proven ability to operate and monitor production machines and equipment.
- Knowledge of basic confectionery or food production processes is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ingredients such as sugar, chocolate, flour, fillings, and other food-production materials.
- Ability to accurately follow production recipes, procedures, work instructions, and schedules.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to perform basic machine cleaning, routine checks, and safe equipment handling.
- Strong attention to detail when checking product appearance, weight, texture, and quality.
- Ability to identify and report production defects, equipment issues, and quality problems.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive production tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, disciplined, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to follow company procedures and instructions from supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor confectionery production machines and equipment according to established procedures.
- Prepare, measure, handle, and load raw materials such as sugar, chocolate, flour, fillings, and other confectionery ingredients.
- Follow production recipes, work instructions, procedures, and assigned production schedules accurately.
- Perform mixing, cooking, molding, filling, coating, and other confectionery production processes as assigned.
- Set up and prepare production equipment before starting manufacturing operations.
- Monitor machine operation, production parameters, temperatures, processing times, and material flow.
- Check raw materials before use and ensure they meet required quality and production specifications.
- Inspect finished and semi-finished products for proper appearance, weight, texture, consistency, and overall quality.
- Identify and report defective products, production irregularities, equipment problems, or deviations from specifications.
- Operate packaging equipment and assist with the proper packing and handling of finished confectionery products.
- Ensure products are handled and stored properly to maintain freshness, quality, and food safety.
- Perform basic cleaning and routine checks of production machinery and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production areas, workstations, tools, and equipment.
- Follow established food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe operating procedures.
- Assist with production line changeovers, material replenishment, and preparation for different production batches.
- Monitor production output and minimize material waste through proper handling and processing.
- Record production information, quantities, quality checks, and other required manufacturing data.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other production workers to maintain smooth and efficient production operations.
- Immediately report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, contamination risks, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow proper procedures for handling food ingredients, production materials, cleaning chemicals, and waste.
- Maintain an organized and efficient production environment throughout the work shift.
- Perform other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
