Grapecare LTD. is seeking physically fit and experienced Metal Cutting Operators to work in a demanding industrial production environment in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will operate metal cutting equipment, handle and inspect castings, organize materials in HT baskets, and safely manage production-related containers and materials while maintaining productivity, quality, and strict workplace safety standards.

Metal Cutting Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience.
• At least a high school graduate.
• At least 2 years of experience in metal cutting within metal production; foundry experience is preferred.
• Minimum height requirement of 170 cm.
• Physically strong build and capable of performing demanding manual work in hot industrial environments.
• Experience handling metal castings or working in a foundry or metal production facility is an advantage.
• Ability to operate metal cutting equipment according to technological and production requirements.
• Ability to perform visual inspection of castings and identify obvious defects or irregularities.
• Ability to follow technological and quality documentation accurately and consistently.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and strict adherence to established safety procedures.
• Physically capable of handling castings, HT baskets, bins, containers, sand, cuttings, and other production materials.
• Good awareness of hazards associated with hot environments, metal production, machinery, and industrial materials.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain productivity under physically demanding conditions.
• Reliable, disciplined, hardworking, and able to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to comply with company production, quality, health, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate metal cutting equipment according to established technological procedures and quality documentation.
• Perform cutting operations on metal castings while maintaining required production and quality standards.
• Handle castings safely before, during, and after the cutting process.
• Conduct visual inspection of castings after cutting to identify defects, irregularities, or quality issues.
• Separate and report defective or non-conforming castings according to established procedures.
• Follow technological instructions, production specifications, and quality documentation accurately.
• Manage and organize the storage of castings in HT baskets to maintain an efficient production workflow.
• Properly handle and position HT baskets and related production materials.
• Handle HT bins, sawdust containers, metal cuttings, and sand safely and efficiently.
• Maintain proper organization of materials and waste in designated production areas.
• Ensure cuttings and other production waste are handled and disposed of according to workplace procedures.
• Monitor the condition and safe operation of metal cutting equipment and report any abnormalities or malfunctions.
• Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping around cutting equipment and assigned work areas.
• Follow proper procedures when working with hot castings, metal materials, machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Maintain productivity and work quality while operating in a hot industrial environment.
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all workplace safety requirements.
• Follow established occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other production workers to ensure smooth material flow and efficient operations.
• Report production problems, equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns promptly.
• Perform other metal cutting, casting handling, and production duties assigned by management.
