Job Location: New Zealand
Accurate Infrastructure Solutions Limited is seeking experienced Pool Technicians to install, inspect, maintain, and repair swimming pool systems for residential, commercial, and recreational facilities in New Zealand. The successful candidate will ensure pools and related equipment operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.
POOL TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in a related technical field.
- Good English communication skills.
- Holder of a valid Philippine Driver’s License (Restriction 1 & 2).
- Strong knowledge of swimming pool equipment, filtration systems, pumps, plumbing, and water treatment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance documentation.
- Good troubleshooting, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform field service and maintenance work.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect swimming pool systems, pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues affecting pool systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Repair or replace faulty pumps, motors, filters, valves, pipes, control panels, and other pool equipment.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures and extend service life.
- Test and monitor water quality, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other chemical levels, and perform necessary adjustments.
- Clean swimming pools, filters, skimmers, strainers, and related equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and inventory of parts and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and safe handling of pool chemicals.
- Communicate maintenance findings and recommendations to supervisors or clients.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
