Australian Skilled Migration is seeking experienced and skilled Pool Rendering Plasterers to work in Australia. The successful candidates will specialize in applying plaster and render to swimming pool walls, floors, steps, curves, corners, and other pool surfaces. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in swimming pool construction, excellent trowel and finishing skills, and the ability to achieve smooth, even, level, and durable finishes.
POOL RENDERING PLASTERER
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in pool rendering plastering or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of college education or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
- Proven hands-on experience in pool rendering and swimming pool construction.
- Excellent troweling and finishing skills.
- Skilled in smoothly rendering curves, corners, steps, walls, and pool floors.
- Strong knowledge of cement, sand, plaster, render, and other pool construction materials.
- Ability to properly prepare and mix rendering materials to achieve the required consistency.
- Strong understanding of surface preparation, leveling, finishing, and repair techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to achieve smooth, even, level, and consistent finishes.
- Competent in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, mixers, and plastering equipment.
- Good understanding of construction site safety procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual work in construction environments.
- Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work independently or as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
- Apply plaster and render to swimming pool walls, floors, steps, curves, corners, and other surfaces.
- Prepare pool surfaces before rendering by cleaning, leveling, and removing loose or defective materials.
- Prepare and mix cement, sand, plaster, and other rendering materials according to project requirements.
- Measure and combine materials accurately to achieve the required consistency and workability.
- Apply render evenly using trowels and appropriate plastering tools.
- Achieve smooth, even, level, and consistent finishes across pool surfaces.
- Render curved surfaces, corners, steps, edges, and other challenging pool structures accurately.
- Ensure proper thickness, alignment, levels, and surface consistency during application.
- Perform finishing and troweling work to achieve high-quality pool surfaces.
- Repair cracks, holes, uneven surfaces, and other imperfections before final finishing.
- Check completed surfaces for smoothness, level, consistency, and overall workmanship.
- Make necessary adjustments to correct uneven or defective areas.
- Work according to pool construction plans, measurements, specifications, and project requirements.
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, mixers, and other rendering equipment.
- Handle cement, sand, plaster, and other construction materials safely and efficiently.
- Protect completed surfaces and surrounding areas from unnecessary damage or contamination.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the project.
- Follow construction site health and safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report material requirements, defects, hazards, and project issues to supervisors.
- Coordinate with pool builders, tilers, concreters, waterproofers, and other construction workers.
- Complete assigned pool rendering and plastering work within project schedules and required quality standards.
