Dazaz Sugar Company is seeking a qualified PLC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize programmable logic controller (PLC) systems, automation equipment, and production control systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted plant operations.

PLC Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a PLC Technician or in a related automation field.
  • Experience in maintenance, production, planning, electrical systems, automation, or PLC operations.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, industrial automation, control panels, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with production equipment, troubleshooting techniques, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve automation and control system faults.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and industrial safety standards.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems and industrial automation equipment.
  • Diagnose faults in control systems, sensors, actuators, VFDs, and related equipment.
  • Monitor PLC-controlled production processes and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation and control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and technical drawings.
  • Assist in programming, modifying, and updating PLC software when required.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and startup of production equipment and control systems.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, electrical, and production teams to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and operational standards.
  • Participate in troubleshooting activities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and production processes.
