MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
  • Must be a holder of a Professional License/Passed Board or Professional Licensure Examination.
  • Must be a licensed Mechanical Engineer.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, site operations, and project requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with engineering firms, clients, contractors, and government agencies is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures and risk identification.
  • Able to work effectively at construction or industrial job sites and under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up and coordinate project requirements with engineering firms, clients, contractors, and government ministries.
  • Review technical requirements, project documents, and engineering concerns to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Determine appropriate corrective actions for technical, operational, and site-related issues.
  • Monitor mechanical works and ensure activities are carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining a safe and organized work environment at job sites.
  • Identify potential hazards and risks at project sites and report them immediately to the appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate with project teams to resolve mechanical, technical, and operational issues efficiently.
  • Monitor the progress and quality of mechanical works and recommend improvements when necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain technical reports, site records, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
  • Perform other mechanical engineering and site-related duties as assigned.
