PASTRY CHEF

Qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar pastry and bakery role.

Bachelor’s / College Degree in Others or related culinary fields.

Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, baking techniques, dessert production, and food presentation.

Ability to create visually appealing and high-quality baked goods.

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.

Strong leadership, creativity, and time management skills.

Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, breads, desserts, and other baked products using precise baking techniques.

Design and develop creative dessert menus, recipes, and presentation styles.

Ensure all pastry and bakery products meet quality, taste, and presentation standards.

Oversee daily pastry section operations and coordinate production schedules efficiently.

Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients, supplies, and equipment.

Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients according to food safety and hygiene standards.

Decorate cakes, pastries, and desserts with artistic presentation and attention to detail.

Supervise and assist pastry kitchen staff to maintain smooth workflow and productivity.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, tools, and workstations.

Follow HACCP and company food safety procedures at all times.
