PAINTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Painter in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in oil & gas, refineries, energy, or heavy industrial projects is an advantage.
• Skilled in surface preparation, coating application, and finishing techniques.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and use of painting tools and equipment.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), employment records, or project documentation.
• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as required.
• Apply paint, varnish, coatings, and protective finishes to metal structures, equipment, buildings, and industrial surfaces.
• Mix and match paint colors, textures, and materials according to project specifications.
• Perform painting works using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment depending on job requirements.
• Inspect surfaces before and after painting to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Carry out touch-ups, repainting, and maintenance of coated surfaces as needed.
• Follow technical instructions, drawings, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Use proper protective equipment and follow occupational health and safety procedures.
• Assist in scaffolding, surface preparation, and related maintenance tasks when required.
