International Medical Center Hospital is seeking qualified and experienced Oncology Nurses for an overseas work opportunity in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, administer prescribed cancer treatments, monitor treatment responses, manage symptoms, and ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
Oncology Nurse
Qualifications:
- Female applicants are preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Must hold a valid Professional Nursing License and have passed the required professional licensure examination.
- Experience in oncology, medical-surgical nursing, or critical care is preferred.
- Preferably with DataFlow verification.
- Preferably with SCFHS Specialist License.
- Strong knowledge of oncology nursing and cancer treatment procedures.
- Knowledge of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic therapies, and related treatment protocols is an advantage.
- Strong patient assessment and clinical monitoring skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong empathy and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Good crisis-management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress clinical environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in accordance with hospital policies and clinical standards.
- Demonstrate advanced nursing knowledge and clinical competence in the VIP Unit Ward.
- Administer prescribed cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic agents, and radiation-related treatments, within the nurse’s scope of practice and hospital protocols.
- Assess patients before, during, and after treatment.
- Monitor laboratory values, vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses.
- Identify adverse reactions, complications, and changes in patient condition and promptly report them to the appropriate healthcare team.
- Manage common treatment-related symptoms such as pain, nausea, fatigue, and other side effects.
- Provide supportive and palliative nursing care when required.
- Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, medications, symptom management, and appropriate care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, medications, patient assessments, and clinical progress.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical nursing standards.
- Follow organizational policies, infection-control procedures, and patient safety requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, other nurses, allied health professionals, patients, and families.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Perform other nursing duties assigned by nursing management.
