OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in occupational health and safety.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Health and Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience conducting workplace inspections, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Ability to develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in preparing safety reports and maintaining compliance documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace risk assessments, safety inspections, and hazard identification for machinery, equipment, chemicals, and work processes.
- Develop, implement, and monitor occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, Saudi occupational health and safety regulations, and applicable industry standards.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and implement corrective actions to reduce workplace risks.
- Organize and deliver health and safety training, toolbox talks, emergency response drills, and employee safety awareness programs.
- Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Prepare safety reports, inspection records, incident investigations, and regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation procedures and emergency response planning.
- Work closely with supervisors, managers, contractors, and employees to promote a strong safety culture.
- Monitor compliance with environmental, occupational health, and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform other health and safety responsibilities assigned by management.
