International Medical Center Hospital is seeking qualified and experienced OB (Obstetric) Nurses for an overseas work opportunity in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide specialized nursing care to women during labor and delivery, monitor maternal and fetal conditions, and assist physicians and midwives during childbirth.
OB (Obstetric) Nurse
Qualifications:
- Female applicants are preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Must hold a valid Professional Nursing License and have passed the required professional licensure examination.
- Experience in Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, or Maternal Care is preferred.
- Preferably with DataFlow verification.
- Preferably with SCFHS Specialist License.
- Strong knowledge of maternal and fetal monitoring.
- Knowledge of labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal birth and cesarean section assistance.
- Good patient assessment, communication, and clinical skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency and high-pressure situations.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to maternity care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor laboring patients throughout the stages of labor.
- Monitor fetal heart rate, uterine contractions, maternal vital signs, and other relevant clinical indicators.
- Provide comfort measures and emotional support to patients during labor.
- Assist with and coordinate epidural care according to hospital policies and clinical orders.
- Provide clear information and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Prepare patients and equipment for delivery.
- Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after delivery for changes or complications.
- Provide appropriate nursing interventions within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and obstetric nursing protocols.
- Coordinate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiology staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with emergency obstetric procedures when required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized labor and delivery environment.
- Provide appropriate postpartum care and patient education as assigned.
- Perform other nursing duties related to obstetric care as directed by nursing management.
