NON-HEATED FISHERY (TITP)
Qualifications:
- Female, 22–30 years old.
- At least High School Graduate.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Preferably with experience in fishery, seafood processing, food processing, factory work, food preparation, or a related field.
- Must be physically and emotionally healthy and capable of performing physically demanding fishery and processing work.
- Able to stand and work for extended periods.
- Able to work in a cool, wet, or seafood-processing environment.
- Good hand coordination and attention to detail.
- Willing to follow strict food hygiene, sanitation, quality, and safety procedures.
- Responsible, hardworking, disciplined, and willing to learn.
- Must be willing to undergo four (4) months of Japanese language training.
- Japanese language training will be provided free of charge.
- Willing to learn Japanese language, culture, and workplace practices.
- Able to adapt to a structured Japanese work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the handling and processing of fresh fish and other aquatic products.
- Sort and inspect seafood according to size, quality, type, and processing requirements.
- Perform cleaning, trimming, cutting, filleting, and other basic fish-processing tasks as instructed.
- Handle fishery products carefully to maintain freshness and product quality.
- Assist with weighing, portioning, packing, labeling, and storing processed seafood products.
- Follow established procedures for non-heated fishery processing and product handling.
- Maintain proper temperature and storage conditions for seafood products as instructed.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, processing tools, equipment, containers, and work areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
- Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Handle knives, cutting tools, processing equipment, and other work tools safely.
- Inspect products for visible defects, contamination, or quality concerns and report issues to supervisors.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of fishery products and materials when required.
- Minimize product waste and properly dispose of processing waste according to workplace procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Cooperate with supervisors and co-workers to meet daily production requirements.
- Follow company rules and Japanese workplace practices.
- Perform other fishery and seafood processing duties as assigned.
