MOUNTED HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (CRANE OPERATOR)
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience operating cranes and heavy lifting equipment in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Must possess a valid Heavy Equipment Operator License.
- Saudi Aramco certification or license is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of crane operating procedures, load handling, and lifting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret load charts, lifting plans, and work instructions.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations, lifting operations, and risk assessment procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in demanding outdoor environments and under varying site conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes and mounted heavy equipment safely and efficiently to lift, transport, position, and place materials on job sites.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections of cranes and related equipment to ensure safe working condition.
- Follow lifting plans, load charts, and operational procedures during lifting activities.
- Maneuver heavy lifting machinery accurately to support construction, maintenance, and installation operations.
- Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, supervisors, and site personnel during lifting activities.
- Monitor load stability and equipment performance throughout crane operations.
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, company procedures, and lifting standards.
- Identify and report equipment defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks on assigned equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, operations, and maintenance activities.
- Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safe work practices at all times.
- Support project teams in achieving operational targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
