Grapecare LTD. is seeking a reliable and experienced Milkmaid to perform daily milking operations and assist in the care and management of dairy cattle. The successful candidate will ensure proper milking procedures, maintain hygiene standards, and support overall herd health and productivity.

MILKMAID

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cow milking and herding.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least 24 years old.
  • No allergy to iodine and able to wear gloves during work.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a farm environment.
  • Knowledge of dairy farming practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily milking of dairy cows using proper techniques and equipment
  • Ensure strict hygiene and sanitation standards during milking and milk handling
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain milking equipment and storage areas
  • Feed and provide clean water to livestock according to schedule
  • Monitor cows for signs of illness, injury, or abnormal behavior
  • Assist in basic animal care, including grooming and shelter upkeep
  • Maintain cleanliness of barns, pens, and surrounding farm areas
  • Support general farm operations such as waste management and facility maintenance
  • Follow safety protocols and farm procedures at all times
  • Report equipment issues or animal health concerns to supervisors promptly
