Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) is seeking a qualified Equipment Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of mechanical systems and port equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient terminal operations in accordance with company maintenance standards and operational requirements.

Equipment Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Preferably with experience in port, terminal, shipping, heavy equipment, or industrial operations.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices for heavy equipment and machinery.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and mechanical systems used in port operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical maintenance technicians and support personnel.
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for terminal equipment and machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely maintenance to minimize operational downtime.
• Inspect mechanical systems and equipment to identify maintenance requirements and ensure operational reliability.
• Assist in diagnosing complex mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to maintenance staff.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed according to company standards, schedules, and safety requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation of repair activities.
• Coordinate with operations and other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials.
• Enforce workplace safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
