Hofmann Personal is seeking experienced MIG/MAG Welders for deployment to Czech Republic. The successful candidate will perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG/GMAW processes in an industrial manufacturing environment.
MIG/MAG WELDER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant welding experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Must possess NCII or WQT certification for MIG/GMAW welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as grinders.
- Ability to operate electric equipment and touch-panel systems.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, fabrication processes, and workplace safety standards.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding on steel and metal components according to technical specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting before welding operations.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with standards.
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, and related industrial tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform touch-panel equipment operations as required in production processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of welding stations and tools.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet fabrication targets.
- Report equipment issues, defects, or quality concerns to supervisors immediately.
