BARTENDER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or a similar field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Previous experience as a Bartender, Juice Maker, Beverage Maker, Barista, or similar position is an advantage.
• Experience preparing fresh juices, smoothies, mocktails, and other non-alcoholic beverages.
• Familiarity with different fruit and vegetable varieties.
• Basic knowledge of fruit and vegetable nutrition is an advantage.
• Knowledge of blending techniques and beverage preparation methods.
• Familiarity with juicers, blenders, mixers, shakers, and related beverage equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and customer-oriented.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and company standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a beverage service team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve fresh fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, mocktails, and other non-alcoholic beverages.
• Wash, peel, cut, slice, and prepare fruits and vegetables for beverage preparation.
• Blend fruits and vegetables according to recipes, customer orders, and company standards.
• Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, and mocktails with consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
• Operate juicers, blenders, mixers, shakers, and other beverage preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Select appropriate fruits, vegetables, and ingredients based on beverage recipes and customer preferences.
• Apply proper blending techniques to achieve the required taste and consistency.
• Use appropriate portions and measurements when preparing beverages.
• Maintain adequate stocks of fruits, vegetables, juices, syrups, garnishes, cups, and other beverage supplies.
• Check the freshness and quality of fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients before preparation.
• Properly store perishable ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized beverage preparation station.
• Clean and sanitize juicers, blenders, shakers, utensils, containers, counters, and other equipment.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
• Dispose of food waste and used materials properly.
• Maintain proper organization of beverage ingredients, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Prepare beverages efficiently during busy service periods.
• Respond appropriately to customer requests and beverage preferences.
• Monitor beverage supplies and report shortages or equipment problems to the supervisor.
• Follow company recipes, preparation procedures, and workplace policies.
• Perform other beverage preparation and service duties as assigned.
