METAL / SPRAY PAINTER (TITP)
Qualifications:
- Male, 22–35 years old.
- At least High School Graduate.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Preferably with experience in metal painting, spray painting, industrial painting, automotive painting, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Must be physically and emotionally healthy and capable of performing industrial painting work.
- Knowledge of basic surface preparation and spray-painting techniques.
- Able to safely handle paint, solvents, and other coating materials.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Able to identify surface defects and maintain consistent paint quality.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing or industrial painting environment.
- Able to follow technical instructions, production requirements, and safety procedures.
- Responsible, disciplined, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Must be willing to undergo four (4) months of Japanese language training.
- Japanese language training will be provided free of charge.
- Willing to learn Japanese language, culture, and workplace practices.
- Able to adapt to a structured Japanese manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, grinding, and removing rust, dirt, oil, and other contaminants.
- Inspect metal surfaces and identify areas requiring additional preparation before painting.
- Prepare, mix, and measure paints, primers, thinners, and other coating materials according to required specifications.
- Operate spray-painting equipment and other painting tools safely and correctly.
- Apply primer, paint, protective coatings, and finishing materials evenly to metal surfaces.
- Adjust spray equipment, pressure, and application techniques to achieve the required finish.
- Ensure proper coverage, thickness, color, and overall appearance of painted surfaces.
- Inspect completed work for uneven coating, runs, drips, scratches, bubbles, or other surface defects.
- Perform touch-ups, rework, and corrective painting when necessary.
- Follow specified drying, curing, and handling procedures for painted components.
- Properly clean and maintain spray guns, hoses, nozzles, containers, and other painting equipment.
- Handle paints, solvents, and chemical materials according to workplace safety procedures.
- Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks or respirators, gloves, protective clothing, and safety footwear.
- Maintain proper ventilation and cleanliness in painting and work areas.
- Store paint materials and equipment safely and according to company procedures.
- Minimize paint waste and properly dispose of used materials and containers.
- Report equipment problems, coating defects, or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Follow company quality standards, production procedures, and Japanese workplace safety requirements.
- Perform other metal painting and manufacturing-related duties as assigned.
