Linc Facility Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join its facilities maintenance team at Hamad International Airport in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of airport facilities.
Mechanical Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical facilities maintenance.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within large commercial or industrial establishments.
- Experience must be in maintenance and not limited to construction projects.
- Relevant college degree, diploma, or certified vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and facility systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and service pumps, motors, compressors, valves, piping systems, and other mechanical equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment defects and perform timely corrective actions.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
- Carry out equipment testing, adjustments, and performance checks to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and work orders.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and company procedures.
- Coordinate with engineers and other maintenance personnel to complete scheduled maintenance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Perform other related maintenance duties as assigned.
