Job Talent is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician for a leading manufacturing client in Belgium. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise, with proven experience in troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery, particularly in glass bottling or related manufacturing environments.

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in glass bottling or related manufacturing
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial machinery
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery
• Ability to coordinate maintenance activities and downtime planning
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
• Experience operating machine controls and maintenance systems
• Strong record-keeping and equipment monitoring skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with teams and suppliers

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and utility systems
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machines to ensure optimal performance
• Coordinate maintenance activities, including downtime planning, to minimize production disruptions
• Operate machine controls and maintenance systems accurately
• Monitor equipment calibration and maintain detailed maintenance records
• Read, interpret, and prepare technical and work instructions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to address maintenance needs
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
