Service Technician (Counter Balance Machines)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in port or terminal handling equipment
  • Strong background in repair and maintenance of heavy equipment (forklifts, reach stackers, etc.)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience in inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Vocational or technical training in automotive or related field
  • Good English communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repair and maintenance of forklifts, reach stackers, terminal tractors, and similar heavy equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
  • Coordinate with supervisors and team members to minimize downtime
  • Follow safety regulations and company procedures at all times
