SAIPEM / Osman Gazi Project is seeking an experienced Mechanical Static Equipment Technician Supervisor – Topside for an overseas employment opportunity in Turkey. The successful candidate will supervise maintenance activities involving static mechanical equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and piping systems, while ensuring safe and efficient operations.

MECHANICAL STATIC EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN SUPERVISOR (TOPSIDE)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in mechanical maintenance or static equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and piping systems.
• Proven experience in static equipment maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems, including SAP, Maximo, Datastream, or similar platforms.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, offshore, marine, petrochemical, or industrial plant environments is highly advantageous.
• Strong leadership and team coordination experience.
• Ability to supervise technicians and allocate maintenance activities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Strong commitment to HSE standards and safe working practices.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for static mechanical equipment and associated systems.
• Lead technicians in the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and piping systems.
• Monitor equipment condition and identify potential defects, leaks, corrosion, or other mechanical issues.
• Diagnose equipment problems and coordinate appropriate repair and maintenance solutions.
• Ensure maintenance work is performed according to approved procedures, technical specifications, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and supervise mechanical maintenance personnel.
• Monitor the quality, productivity, and timely completion of assigned maintenance activities.
• Support inspection, testing, commissioning, shutdown, and turnaround activities when required.
• Ensure proper preparation and execution of maintenance work on static equipment and piping systems.
• Use CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, Datastream, or similar platforms to manage maintenance work orders and equipment records.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, equipment condition, and spare parts requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, operations personnel, mechanical teams, and other maintenance disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Mechanical Static Equipment Technicians.
• Identify and report equipment defects, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Monitor compliance with maintenance procedures and project requirements.
• Promote effective teamwork, communication, and coordination among maintenance personnel.
• Ensure all work complies with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and safe work practices.
• Participate in emergency maintenance and critical shutdown activities when required.
