Alkhorayef Water & Power Technologies is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems in Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of all mechanical equipment through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial plant operations.
  • Experience in sewage treatment plants, water treatment facilities, or industrial maintenance environments is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, motors, pipelines, valves, and maintenance systems.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment in sewage treatment plants.
  • Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, motors, blowers, valves, pipelines, and other mechanical systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure all mechanical operations comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company procedures.
  • Provide technical support to plant operations and respond to emergency mechanical breakdowns.
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
  • Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
