SGC Arabia Company Limited is seeking an experienced Material Controller (Preservation) to manage the preservation, inspection, and storage of equipment and materials for projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will ensure all materials are handled in compliance with vendor recommendations and international standards, maintaining optimal condition until deployment.

MATERIAL CONTROLLER (PRESERVATION)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants preferred for this role.
• Bachelor’s or College Degree in Engineering (or related fields).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in material control, preservation, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of material preservation techniques and international standards (API, ASME).
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project-specific preservation procedures, routines, and checklists in accordance with vendor recommendations and international standards (e.g., API, ASME).
• Inspect equipment and materials upon arrival at the site warehouse or laydown areas, documenting their condition and ensuring proper storage practices (e.g., nitrogen purging, humidity control).
• Coordinate or perform routine preservation activities, including applying corrosion inhibitors, rotating machinery, and monitoring desiccant levels.
• Maintain accurate records of preservation activities, inspections, and material conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during material handling and storage.
