Boroko Motors is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee and manage all workshop operations, ensuring efficient servicing, repair, and maintenance of vehicles, machinery, tools, and equipment. The successful candidate will lead workshop teams, enforce safety standards, and ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with company objectives.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Automotive, or related technical field is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a workshop environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive or machinery maintenance operations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and team management abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily workshop operations and service activities.
- Allocate tasks to mechanics, technicians, and workshop personnel.
- Monitor repair and maintenance work to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
- Ensure proper workflow management and efficient use of workshop resources.
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the workshop.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Manage workshop budgets, tools, equipment, and inventory control systems.
- Monitor stock levels of spare parts and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Ensure all vehicles, machinery, and equipment are serviced and repaired according to standards.
- Prepare reports on workshop performance, productivity, and operational issues.
- Address operational challenges and implement continuous improvement measures.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate workshop staff to achieve performance targets.
