Maintenance Engineer Automotive

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in automotive maintenance, industrial machinery, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and production line issues.
  • Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automotive manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults and carry out repairs.
  • Ensure production equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtime.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of machinery to identify potential issues.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.
