Locksmith/Machine Fitter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a locksmith, machine fitter, or metal worker.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Proven experience in industrial machinery assembly and steel construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering symbols.
• Mandatory trade or vocational certificates; photos or videos of previous projects as proof of experience.
• Basic welding experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools (e.g., drills, electric tools, angle grinders).
• Additional skills such as forklift (VZV) operation, overhead crane operation, and metal bending/rolling (press brake) are desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manufacturing and finishing of metal components using hand operations such as filing, cutting, drilling, bending, and thread cutting.
• Assemble and install industrial machinery and equipment according to technical drawings and assembly specifications.
• Conduct maintenance, testing, and repairs of tools, machines, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
• Carry out inspections and quality checks of components and assemblies using measuring tools to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support the assembly of complex machine systems or prototypes, coordinating tasks and using mechanical equipment safely.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following company and regulatory safety procedures
