Australia is seeking experienced Line Borers/Machinists with strong skills in line boring, machining, welding, and fitting for heavy equipment and metal components.
LINE BORER (Machinist)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in line boring, machining, welding, and fitting works for heavy equipment and metal components.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprints, and measuring tolerances accurately.
- Experienced in operating line boring machines, conventional machining tools, and ID welders.
- Previous work on large excavation buckets and attachment bores is highly preferred.
- Strong focus on safety and quality.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license for field service work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform line boring, machining, welding, and fitting on heavy equipment and metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and measure tolerances accurately.
- Operate line boring machines, conventional machining tools, and ID welders.
- Conduct workshop and on-site repairs, including work on large excavation buckets and attachment bores.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following company and regulatory safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure high-quality output.
