TIG MIG FCAW WELDER FABRICATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills with trade technology
- Candidates must have at least 1 year in college or 1 year vocational course
- Good Ability to read and understand 2D AutoCad aand Inventor drawings
- Experience with positional welding using FLUX CORED MIG WIRES
- Ability to weld to code requirements and pass visual, ultrasonic and Xray testing
- Able to work well with limited supervision
Responsibilities:
- Cut, roll, shape, bend , position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or sub units
- Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications and engineering drawings by using measuring equipment
- Locate and mark work piece bending and cutting lines, allowing for thickness, ,machine and welding shrinkage and other component
specifications - Understand engineering drawings to determine material and equipment requirements and task sequences
- Move parts into position manually or with hoists or cranes
- Set up and operate hand and power tools, pipe fitting equipment, peumatic tools, measuing devices, pressure gauges and welding equipment
- Construct boilers, pressure vessels and tanks to Australian Standards and or customer requirements .
