Techforce Personnel Pty. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Australia. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, a solid background in vehicle repair, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive environment.

LIGHT VEHICLE MECHANIC

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.
  • Preferably a college graduate in automotive or related field.
  • If not a college graduate, must have a valid English proficiency certificate:
    • IELTS Academic or General Training: Minimum 5.0 in each band
    • OR PTE Academic: Listening 33, Reading 36, Writing 29, Speaking 24
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair light vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults accurately.
  • Provide solutions for mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
