LICENSED ELECTRICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant electrical work experience.
- At least college graduate.
- Must be a Licensed/Certified Electrician.
- Experience in switchboard manufacturing in a factory setting.
- Experience in switchboard manufacturing, installation, or commissioning.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to determine the scope of works.
- Knowledge of electrical testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring, installation, testing, and commissioning procedures.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a factory and electrical installation environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, Code 1 and Code 2.
- Good communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to take IELTS or PTE as required for employment or migration purposes.
- Physically fit and capable of performing electrical installation, workshop, and switchboard manufacturing duties.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and assemble electrical switchboards in a factory setting according to specifications and approved designs.
- Perform electrical installation, wiring, assembly, and commissioning of switchboards and related electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, plans, and technical specifications.
- Determine the scope of electrical works based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Install and connect electrical components, cables, control equipment, breakers, and other switchboard components.
- Carry out wiring and termination works accurately and safely.
- Conduct electrical testing, inspections, and functional checks on switchboards and electrical installations.
- Diagnose electrical faults and identify defective components, wiring issues, or system abnormalities.
- Perform troubleshooting and corrective electrical work to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
- Inspect completed switchboards and installations to ensure workmanship and quality meet required standards.
- Assist with testing and commissioning activities before electrical systems are placed into service.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, workplace health and safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Use electrical tools, testing instruments, and workshop equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain accurate work records, testing results, and relevant technical documentation.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, technicians, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the factory and on installation sites.
- Perform other electrical and switchboard manufacturing duties as assigned by management.
