Al-Iman Gasket Factory is seeking an experienced Lathe Machine Operator for an overseas work opportunity in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will operate and monitor lathe machines to produce and finish metal components according to required dimensions and specifications.

LATHE MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of field working experience in lathe machine operation or a related machining role.
• Maximum age 40 years old.
• Practical knowledge of lathe machine operation and metal machining processes.
• Ability to perform accurate measuring and inspection of machined components.
• Familiarity with common machining tools, cutting tools, and measuring instruments.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate lathe machines according to production requirements.
• Secure and position workpieces correctly before machining.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools and machine accessories.
• Operate the lathe to turn, face, bore, drill, thread, and finish metal components.
• Adjust machine settings, cutting speeds, and feeds as necessary.
• Measure finished components using appropriate measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect machined parts for defects, incorrect dimensions, or surface imperfections.
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality and accuracy.
• Follow technical drawings, measurements, work instructions, and production specifications.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of lathe machines.
• Keep cutting tools, machines, and work areas clean and properly maintained.
• Safely handle metal materials, workpieces, tools, and machining equipment.
• Report machine problems, tooling issues, or production defects to the supervisor.
• Follow company safety procedures and appropriate personal protective equipment requirements.
• Perform other machining and production duties as assigned.
