NBTC Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified QC Inspector for Hydrotest Piping to ensure that all hydrostatic testing activities on piping systems are executed safely, accurately, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The ideal candidate will monitor testing procedures, inspect materials and workmanship, and document results to uphold quality assurance standards.

INSPECTOR – QC (Hydrotest Piping)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QC Inspector in hydrotest piping for industrial, oil & gas, or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of hydrostatic testing procedures, standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and reporting procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Certification in QC inspection, NDT, or relevant standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify piping systems before, during, and after hydrostatic testing.
• Ensure all hydrotest procedures are conducted according to project specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols.
• Review drawings, specifications, and hydrotest procedures to confirm compliance.
• Monitor pressure testing, record results, and identify any leaks, deformations, or non-conformances.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and QA/QC teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed reports on test results, including non-conformance reports (NCRs) if applicable.
• Ensure all equipment, gauges, and testing instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Enforce safety standards and promote a culture of quality on-site.
