CAS Recruitment Ltd. – Greek Branch is hiring experienced Pet Groomers for deployment in Greece. The company is seeking caring, skilled, and detail-oriented individuals who can provide professional grooming services for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments while ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and animal welfare.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in pet grooming, animal care, or veterinary support services.
PET GROOMER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dog grooming or pet care is preferred.
- Ability to handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience and care.
- Relevant training or certification in pet grooming is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of animal hygiene, health, and welfare standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and perform grooming tasks.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and genuine love for animals.
- Excellent English communication skills are required.
- Newly renewed passport is required.
Responsibilities:
- Groom dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments with care, patience, and professionalism.
- Perform bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling of pet coats according to breed standards or client preferences.
- Maintain proper animal hygiene and ensure pets are handled safely and comfortably at all times.
- Clean ears, trim nails, and perform basic sanitary grooming procedures.
- Inspect pets for signs of skin conditions, parasites, or health issues and report concerns when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Ensure proper handling and restraint techniques to avoid stress or injury to animals.
- Provide a calm and safe grooming environment for pets.
- Assist with basic pet care routines and customer service as needed.
- Maintain grooming records and follow client instructions accurately.
- Follow animal welfare guidelines and workplace safety standards.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a grooming or care team.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary starts at €1,250 gross monthly.
- Forty-two (48) working hours / Six (6) days a week.
- Accommodation will be provided.
- Contract duration is for 2 years.
