HOUSEKEEPER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of working experience is required.
• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Hospitality/Tourism Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ housekeeping experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury resort, or upscale hospitality establishment.
• Training and experience in housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and their proper usage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing housekeeping duties, including lifting and handling laundry loads.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Honest, reliable, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in guest rooms, corridors, and surrounding resort areas.
• Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and mats according to resort housekeeping standards.
• Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and bathrooms while replenishing toiletries, towels, and guest amenities.
• Dust, polish, and maintain furniture, fixtures, and decorative items to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Replace, change, and clean bed linens according to resort protocols and guest preferences.
• Restock guest room amenities, supplies, and housekeeping inventory as required.
• Perform room turnover and departure cleaning duties, ensuring proper sanitization and presentation before guest arrival.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and coordinate with relevant departments when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout guest rooms, public areas, and resort facilities.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures in accordance with resort policies.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Assist with laundry operations and other housekeeping-related duties when required.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
