HEAVY WORKSHOP MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• At least a High School Graduate with a Diploma or certification related to the field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Oil & Gas construction projects and GCC countries.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance, mechanical systems, and repair procedures.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot heavy machinery faults effectively.
• Good communication skills and physically fit for workshop and field maintenance work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair heavy construction equipment, engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy machinery to minimize equipment downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and determine appropriate repair solutions using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble worn or damaged mechanical components.
• Conduct equipment testing and operational checks after repairs to ensure safe and reliable performance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair reports, and service documentation.
• Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and machinery are properly maintained and used safely.
• Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to complete repairs efficiently and support project operations.
