Carpenter
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience
- Preferably have trade experience as a leading hand/crew leader.
- Carpentry qualification and proficiency in reading plans.
- Physically fit and strong, as the work is strenuous and involves heavy lifting.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Exhibit leadership skills and an impeccable work ethic.
- Must have completed high school as a minimum, preferably some tertiary education
- Complete documents – COE, Diploma, Passport and Certificates
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a crew of 3-5 workers installing AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) panels on residential job sites.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading plans, strong leadership skills, a fantastic work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
- Read plans and set up the job each morning.
- Complete safety assessments onsite.
- Ensure all workers adhere to safety requirements and follow correct procedures.
- Liaise with Maaken supervisors and update them on job status.
