RENDERER/PLASTERER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) bricks.
- Diploma or Vocational qualification in a relevant construction or trade field.
- Complete employment documents, including Certificate of Employment (COE), Diploma, Passport, and relevant Trade Certificates.
- Proven experience in cement rendering, plastering, skim coating, and wall finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in using plastering and rendering tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual construction work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare wall and ceiling surfaces for rendering and plastering by cleaning, leveling, and applying bonding agents.
- Apply cement render, acrylic render, texture coatings, and plaster finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Install and finish render systems on AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) brick walls.
- Mix plaster, mortar, render, and finishing compounds according to project specifications.
- Repair cracks, holes, and damaged plaster or rendered surfaces.
- Ensure surfaces are level, smooth, and ready for painting or decorative finishes.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
- Measure materials accurately and minimize waste during application.
- Operate and maintain plastering tools, mixers, trowels, scaffolding, and related equipment safely.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other rendering and plastering duties assigned by supervisors.
