Heavy Equipment Operator

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of relevant Oil & Gas work experience is required.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in Oil & Gas, construction, or related industrial projects.
• With a valid TESDA National Certificate (NC) related to the trade, where applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, pre-operation inspection, and basic operator-level maintenance.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas site safety procedures and industrial workplace requirements.
• Ability to recognize equipment problems and promptly report mechanical or operational issues.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding work in industrial and outdoor environments.
• Strong awareness of workplace hazards and commitment to safe equipment operation.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, project requirements, and established safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, disciplined, responsible, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate assigned heavy equipment safely and efficiently at Oil & Gas project sites.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections before using heavy equipment.
• Check equipment controls, attachments, fluid levels, tires or tracks, safety devices, and other components.
• Operate machinery according to manufacturer specifications and established site procedures.
• Perform assigned excavation, loading, hauling, grading, lifting, earthmoving, or other equipment operations.
• Maneuver and position heavy equipment accurately in work areas and around other personnel and machinery.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, site engineers, and project management.
• Maintain constant awareness of workers, vehicles, structures, utilities, and other potential hazards.
• Comply with Oil & Gas site safety rules, work permits, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitor equipment performance and identify unusual noises, leaks, vibrations, or other signs of malfunction.
• Report equipment defects, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Perform basic daily operator maintenance and equipment checks as required.
• Keep assigned equipment clean and in safe operating condition.
• Coordinate with ground personnel, spotters, supervisors, and other equipment operators.
• Operate equipment carefully around pipelines, structures, excavation areas, and other project facilities.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Stop operations and report unsafe conditions when necessary.
• Assist maintenance personnel during equipment inspection, servicing, or repair activities when required.
• Perform other heavy equipment operation and related site duties assigned by management.
