HEAVY EQUIPMENT ELECTRICIAN / AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Electrician, Auto Electrician, or similar position.
• Proven experience working with trucks, buses, construction equipment, or heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of automotive and heavy-equipment electrical and electronic systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic software and electrical testing tools, including Power Probe and short finders.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a technical team.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain electrical and electronic systems in trucks, buses, construction machinery, and heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults involving wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, sensors, and control modules.
• Inspect and test electrical circuits and components using appropriate diagnostic equipment and testing tools.
• Work with advanced vehicle electronics and computer-controlled systems to identify and resolve electrical problems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals to perform accurate repairs and installations.
• Use diagnostic software and specialized tools such as Power Probe, short finders, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Repair, replace, and install defective electrical components, wiring, connectors, and electronic modules.
• Conduct testing after repairs to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, diagnoses, repairs, and replaced components.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturer specifications when working on heavy vehicles and machinery.
