System Engineer Mitsui Co. is seeking qualified applicants for the General Food & Beverage Manufacturing position under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program in Japan. Successful candidates will work in a candy manufacturing facility, supporting the production, packaging, and quality control of confectionery products while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality.
GENERAL FOOD & BEVERAGE MANUFACTURING (SSW)
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only
- 20 to 33 years old
- Must be either:
- A former Technical Intern Trainee (TITP) who completed training in the same food and beverage manufacturing category; or
- A passer of the Food and Beverage Manufacturing Prometric Examination
- Must have passed the Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese (JFT-Basic) or the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4
- Physically fit and capable of working in a food manufacturing environment
- Hardworking, reliable, and able to follow company procedures and quality standards
- Willing to work in Japan under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor candy manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and packaging of confectionery products
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards and specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and tools in accordance with food safety regulations
- Follow standard operating procedures, workplace safety rules, and hygiene practices at all times
- Report equipment malfunctions, production issues, or quality concerns to supervisors
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets and maintain efficient operations
