FOOD RUNNER
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or food service establishments.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Good communication skills in English are required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food handling, hygiene, and restaurant service standards is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude toward guests and co-workers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food and beverages to guest tables promptly, accurately, and according to restaurant service procedures.
- Ensure all dishes are properly presented and match restaurant quality standards before serving.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and waiters to maintain smooth and timely service flow, especially during busy hours.
- Assist in clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables between guest seatings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, trays, utensils, delivery equipment, and assigned work areas.
- Monitor dining areas and assist guests with basic requests when needed.
- Support front-of-house staff in maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and hospitality.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations at all times.
- Report guest concerns, service delays, or operational issues to supervisors immediately.
- Perform additional restaurant support duties as assigned by management.
