Universal Cold Store Company is seeking experienced Feed Mill Operators to operate, monitor, and maintain feed mill equipment used in the production of high-quality poultry feed. The successful candidate will ensure efficient feed production while maintaining equipment performance, product quality, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Feed Mill Operator
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Feed Mill Operator or in a similar production role.
- Technical knowledge and practical experience in feed mill operations and industrial production equipment.
- Familiarity with feed mills, poultry production, hatcheries, processing plants, or agricultural manufacturing operations.
- Basic knowledge of feed manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate feed mill machinery and equipment, including grinders, mixers, pellet mills, conveyors, bucket elevators, batching systems, and packaging equipment.
- Monitor feed production processes to ensure products are manufactured according to approved formulations and quality standards.
- Perform equipment start-up, shutdown, adjustments, and routine operational checks.
- Inspect machinery regularly to identify abnormal conditions, equipment wear, or potential malfunctions.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on feed mill equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to report equipment faults and assist during repair activities.
- Monitor raw material flow, batching accuracy, and finished feed output to maintain production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records, machine operating logs, and daily production reports.
- Ensure compliance with feed quality standards, company standard operating procedures (SOPs), and feed safety requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of production areas, equipment, and workstations.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform other feed mill production duties assigned by management.
