ENGINEER STEEL STRUCTURAL

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a Structural Steel Engineer or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel design, fabrication, erection, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, engineering specifications, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with international construction standards, structural engineering codes, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and project management abilities.
• Proficient in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications; experience with AutoCAD or other structural design software is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect structural steel fabrication, assembly, and erection works at project sites.
• Ensure all structural steel works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, engineering specifications, applicable codes, and project requirements.
• Review shop drawings, structural calculations, fabrication details, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, fabricators, and quality control personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure structural works are completed according to approved schedules.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve technical and engineering issues related to structural steel works.
• Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, dimensional accuracy, alignment, and compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout project execution.
• Prepare inspection reports, progress reports, technical documentation, and site records.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations to improve construction efficiency and quality.
• Support quality assurance and quality control activities, including material inspections and acceptance of completed structural works.
• Perform other related duties assigned by project management.
